Algarve Car Hire was founded in 1982, with the founding principle to offer its clients a quality and affordable service, with special emphasis in the “short car rental” (holiday car rental) business.

Now, more than 20 years later, with over 200 cars in its fleet, Algarve Car Hire boasts a vast range of vehicles, for all needs, from small city cars, to spacious station wagons, to luxury SUVs.

Algarve Car Hire has made over 150.000 rental contracts, during its 20+ years existence. Many of those have been returning clients, from all over the world.

Our motto is “value for money”. We insist in it. So much so, that our business slogan is “we do care about your holiday”. We aim to make our clients happy, and allow them to have the best possible holidays in the Algarve, so they travel around and explore at will. We also provide very short waiting times for any request and that keeps our clients coming, and turns them into friends over the years.
